The company was founded in 2012 in Kobe, Japan, and has since become a significant player in the solar energy sector.
Its logistics warehouses are located in Kanto, Kansai, and Central Japan, enabling an efficient distribution network. In 2015, they opened their Tokyo branch, specializing in the sale of photovoltaic products.

Among their manufacturing facilities is Leapton Solar (Changshu) Co., Ltd., established in 2017 in Jiangsu Province, China, with an annual production capacity of 600 MW. Their solar panels are also listed on the Bloomberg Tier 1 list.
