The purpose of the support is:
Domestic businesses should receive financial assistance to build or expand energy storage systems and related renewable energy production capacity at their headquarters or premises. The winning investments will help Hungary reach its target of 1 gigawatt of energy storage capacity by 2030.
Available support:
Non-repayable grants may be awarded under the scheme. The level of the contribution will depend on the size of the businesses.
Costs in excess of the grant must be covered by the applicant enterprise from its own resources.
Amount available:
The total budget of the programme is HUF 50 billion, of which HUF 25 billion is specifically earmarked for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
The promoter reserves the right to adjust the allocation of funds to each target group on the basis of the number of applications received and the level of support requested.
The number of projects expected to be supported is between 2 500 and 2 600. The amount of money to be awarded per application will be between HUF 10 million and HUF 1 billion.
Who can apply?
Applications may be submitted by any company which:

is a resident in Hungary, is domiciled in Hungary, or
-
is established in the European Economic Area, has a branch in Hungary and a valid Hungarian tax number.
An additional condition is that the applicant must:

have at least one full financial year
The planned publication of the call for proposals:
august 2025
The improvements will have to be completed by the end of 2027.

The aim of the public consultation is to give stakeholders the opportunity to get acquainted with the draft call for proposals for 2025 and to share their comments and suggestions.
